My Sweden trip was canceled due to Covid, so I decided to explore somewhere in the States that I had not been in years. Denver is the Sweden of America, right? Most of my friends in the town ended up not being there so I had to find ways to entertain myself. Found this on Trip Adviser. I always love a great ghost tour, so decided to give it a try.
You meet up at the Celtic and have to find a gentlemen dressed in a old west sheriff's uniform or I was told if it is a lady she is in a old west dress. Juaquin was our guide, and boy I am glad he was. I'll keep you from racking your brain on why you know him. He sounds like Charlie from Always Sunny in Philadelphia and has the mannerisms of Jack Black. He is quite an entertainer and a funny guy.
He takes you around to several bars and tells stories. You stop at the Union Station and the Oxford Hotel (tour can change from what I was told). He is very animated and funny. This is for a mature audience, so if you do not like mature subjects or swearing the Denver Zoo is amazing. There is a decent amount of walking so bring comfortable shoes. The tour ends where it began. FYI currently with Covid the bars close at 11 pm. Might suggest the 7:30 tour so you don't lose out on drinking at the last stop as some of our tour goers did.
Will I go on another of their tours? Without a doubt. Next time I am in town, I will check out there other tours.
