What To Expect

Old South Carriage Company

Our stable is where your tour experience will begin and end. After checking in you can say hi to our draft horses, watch an educational video, purchases a bottle of water, or use our restroom. As you board your carriage via our inclined ramp / easy loading platform, your certified tour guide will greet you.This 40 minute after-dark tour covers more than 15 eerie blocks of Charleston's old walled city.

Great stories and guide. It was a big expensive for the length of time, but the horse was beautiful! It was a great option if you do not want to do a long walking tour - which we opted out of because I was 35 weeks pregnant and my Mother cannot walk far.

It was fun. Ben and Ron (horse) were entertaining and the horses were all dressed up for Halloween. Ron was a dragon!

A unique experience! This was a great way to see some of Charleston. Our tour guide had some great stories full of fun and interesting facts. Seeing the stable of horses was awesome too.
