Overview

Our Houston haunted pub tour is a combination ghost tour and pub crawl that is perfect for a great night out. Whether you are a true lover of ghosts or are just up for a fun night out, there is something for everyone! A costumed guide will lead tour goers on a 2.5 hour walking tour through the historic district of downtown Houston. We will stop at four bars along the way, each housed in historic buildings with their own unique ghosts and stories, and give guests time to enjoy a delicious libation as the guide tells all about the fascinating history of Houston and some of its most famous and creepy haunted stories!

The tour itself was cool, learned about the history of Houston and about some noteworthy buidlings downtown. My boyfriend and I are from Houston, so this was a unique and fun way to enjoy the bars downtown. Our guide was entertaining and, since it ended up unintentionally being a private tour, it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. The only negative part was that our tour guide was frequently on their phone. Sometimes it was to show us pictures, so perhaps they were simply preparing for the next story, but it seemed like they were also texting. It was distracting at times and led to long moments of silence. It was discouraging, especially keeing in mind that this was a >$60 excusion with drinks not included. In the future it would be helpful to provide tour guides with printed laminated pictures or some guidence as to provide a more professional experience.

Emily was our amazing tour guide and our group of 24 people had a blast! The tour was very informative and the stories were spooky! The drinks were cold and we had a specialty cocktail at Dean’s (which is easily the coolest bar in Houston). Absolutely recommend, so much fun!
