Haunted Memphis Walking Ghost Tour

Overview
Enjoy the darker side of Memphis and hear tales of the city's haunted heritage as told by professional storytellers. The city’s South Main Historic District – an eclectic, colorful area with some of the city’s oldest buildings – has a long history of sensational murders and ghostly activity. On this two-hour walking tour, you'll visit a number of haunted sites, including:
• The Orpheum Theater, home of "Mary," who has haunted performances since 1921
• The John Alexander Austin House, a Victorian era mansion haunted by star-crossed lovers
• The notorious Ernestine & Hazel's, a former brothel long recognized as one of the most haunted buildings in Memphis. We'll take you inside this creepy establishment, home to several ghosts as well as a haunted jukebox.

Our guide was awesome! Very knowledgeable young lady. We happen to book on a bike night, that was awesome too.

Had a fun and interesting time! Patty was a wonderful guide. Loved her personality and her knowledge of the haunted historical sites! Lots of walking but definitely recommend.

I liked the tour our tour guides we amazing Cory and I think Pam? The only thing that stinks is it is loud at times and hard to hear. There is no restroom stops along the way. Maybe at halfway point make a deal with a place to to allow the group to go to restroom. Last the fact that they did not return us to stopping point. I think they need to get the people back into Beale that were inside prior to the tour. It stinks we had to go back in and pay to get in. When originally we did not. Otherwise good time!

Thanks for your suggestions! We understand that the noise downtown, especially on a holiday weekend, can certainly make it hard to hear and enjoy our guides doing an awesome job. We'll make sure they turn up the volume from now on! We actually did stop for a bathroom break in the past, but that business is now closed and we haven't found another one to work with us on replacing it--yet! As for the admission fee to Beale St., that is a program run by the city only on weekends after 10pm, so we don't have any control over that--we are sorry you had to do that. We hope that you had a great time otherwise and that you'll come back and see us again soon!
