Haunted Memphis Walking Ghost Tour

Overview
Enjoy the darker side of Memphis and hear tales of the city's haunted heritage as told by professional storytellers. The city’s South Main Historic District – an eclectic, colorful area with some of the city’s oldest buildings – has a long history of sensational murders and ghostly activity. On this two-hour walking tour, you'll visit a number of haunted sites, including:
• The Orpheum Theater, home of "Mary," who has haunted performances since 1921
• The John Alexander Austin House, a Victorian era mansion haunted by star-crossed lovers
• The notorious Ernestine & Hazel's, a former brothel long recognized as one of the most haunted buildings in Memphis. We'll take you inside this creepy establishment, home to several ghosts as well as a haunted jukebox.

The tour guide Jay was fantastic. My problem with the tour were the constant interruptions. No ones fault but it took away from the experience. We also had alot of drunk people smoking on our tour.

Hi Melanie! We are so sorry to hear that your experience was less than stellar. We certainly understand that interruptions can take away the fun of a night out. We hope you will come back and see us and give us another chance in the future--you might even have Jay as your guide again (we agree, she's pretty great!)

Totally recommend this! The walking tour was fun and informative but the tour guide was the best part. She was friendly, funny and knew her history. The tour was under 2 hours and wasn’t a long walk at all but it was packed with lots of stops and stories. For the money, it was a great date night.

The tour was a lot of fun, provided a little Memphis history along with the ghost stories. Plenty of stops along the way made the walking easy and the time flew by.
