Your guide will orient you to the area of East Cemetery Hill which is the location of heavy fighting during the Battle of Gettysburg before you enter the National Soldiers Orphanage Homestead. This was one of the coolest places to visit while in Gettysburg. I feel that was mostly due to our amazing tour guide, Mike. He made it so very interesting and intriguing. It was a sad story behind this orphanage but a must see while in Gettysburg!

Chris is a great tour guide ! She tells stories in a way that holds your attention. We caught some activity on our camera this evening and it was a very memorable experience.

My fiancé and I did the orphanage tour last week during our visit to Gettysburg. It was our favorite tour during our time there thanks to our tour guide, Maria. She kept a pretty large group engaged the entire time through her story telling and was incredibly informative on the history/paranormal stories associated with the orphanage.
