The guide was very informative on the history of the area and focused mainly on Jennie(y) Wade. I would not categorize this as a ghost tour. Weird thing is that he didn't take us to the house that has Ms. Wade's statue in front of it. The tour was about a 3 - 4 block radius and at the end of the tour he showed us the jail and then we walked down a dark alley with nothing to look at....I thought that was a little odd. Even though it wasn't what I expected I still enjoyed myself and learned things about the Civil War that I didn't know before. The guide was a very good story teller.

Hi Wendy! Thank you for the feedback. We're glad you enjoyed yourself. We apologize the tour did not meet your expectations for a ghost tour. We do extensive research on thei history of each location, as well as the ghost stories and sightings. We will pass this along to try and improve the tour for our future guests!

I wish I could remember our tour guide's name (sorry!) - we went on Thurs 11/7/19 at 8pm. He was funny yet gave us a good mix of history as well as ghost stories. We purchased the EMF detectors for our boys to use and it added to the fun. Although we didn't see any ghosts, it was a fun way to involve our children (aged 14 and 12) in the history of Gettysburg. I would recommend this if you like semi-private (there were only 7 in our group including our family of 4) tours w/a personal touch. Maybe you'll see a ghost!
