Dobbin House Tavern

Built in 1776, the Dobbin House is one of the oldest houses in Gettsyburg. Here you will learn of its incredible history as an education facility and its and connection to the underground railroad. Hear the tales and reports of paranormal encounters with the playful spirits that still roam the hallways in this historic building.

Hall of Presidents & First Ladies

Under the grounds of this museum was a once makeshift burial ground during the Civil War. Here you will learn of this history of this site and the spirits that reportedly still lurk in the basement.

Gettysburg National Cemetery

The sadness and tragedy of the Battle of Gettysburg resonates in this sacred and historic cemetery. Our guides will share the most chilling tales of strange encounters that its’ visitors experience.

Clinton was our guide. He started the tour by asking who believes in ghosts (or not). He then conducts the tour accordingly, so the emphasis of the tour may depend on who is taking the tour. There is plenty of history within the few blocks we walked with Clinton, and he explained how the battle swept through Gettysburg. But he also told us many ghost stories, and related various examples of paranormal events that were witnessed by different people, including people on his or other tours!

Our guide was knowledgeable and told us a lot of stories with a lot of detail and it was interesting but not too much in line with ghosts.

The tour was a great experience and our guide, Clinton, was super knowledgeable, personable, and great at answering our questions. It's true the tour is more historical than anything else, but as sites like the orphanage and the Jennie Wade House have their own tours, it's natural that we couldn't go inside any of them. I wanted to learn some of the less well-known history of the town and I got more than I expected. Had a little trouble finding the meeting spot, but Clinton actually called me before leaving on the tour to make sure I wasn't loss and didn't leave without me, which is above and beyond what I expected and I appreciated it.
