Old Jail Museum

Get ready for an up close and personal encounter of the town’s most haunted building, the Old Jail. Listed on the Florida and National Register of Haunted Places and is the site of countless documented paranormal experiences. Unlock the secret of an (EVP) voice recording captured during a real paranormal investigation and its possible connection to the well-known hangings carried out on the site. Cameras or camera phones are recommended to take pictures through the building’s famous and ominous windows and potentially capture something unworldly! Send us your pictures and we will evaluate them for paranormal activity and may even share them on our social media pages.

Went on the 6:30pm tour 3/17. They no longer make any stops on this tour “due to Covid” which I don’t understand since their trolleys run all day with people jumping on and off. The girl talked on the trolley...unless if she heard any noise then she would stop and comment about it. It became very weird and annoying. I was on this tour with my 2 daughter and their cousin. When we got off my 9 year old asked when the ghost tour was going to start? They are using Covid to capitalize by offering a separate tour into the jail now. When we got off this tour we ran to find a real ghost tour that would take us. Thankful we found one. They need to fix this tour get rid of crappy guides,scripts and start letting people back in jail and wax museum. There are ways to do this safely.

Our tour guide and driver were great! Very entertaining and very informative and made sure everything was great for the whole ride. We were able to get off at some stops and get up close to the graveyards and the fort which was a nice surprise! The only thing that kept me from giving an excellent review was the lady at the front counter. She rolled her eyes and sighed when I didn’t have my ticket pulled up in time. She shoved us to the side and began helping someone else. We had arrived 40 minutes early for our time slot, so we could figure everything out in plenty of time. This lady was not friendly and lacked service.

One of many ghost tours in St Augustine. Not as good as others I have been on. It's a driving tour not one you can get out and walk to some of the sites. Doesn't go to the light house where I got the most orb shots last time I was here.
