Old Jail Museum

Get ready for an up close and personal encounter of the town’s most haunted building, the Old Jail. Listed on the Florida and National Register of Haunted Places and is the site of countless documented paranormal experiences. Unlock the secret of an (EVP) voice recording captured during a real paranormal investigation and its possible connection to the well-known hangings carried out on the site. Cameras or camera phones are recommended to take pictures through the building’s famous and ominous windows and potentially capture something unworldly! Send us your pictures and we will evaluate them for paranormal activity and may even share them on our social media pages.

Heard same info from Daytime trolley tour. All the young lady did was tell stories. She lost my attention after 10 minutes. My husband and people around us felt the same way. Worst haunted tour ever. I have been on St Aug walking ghost tours that was awesome.

There is nothing haunted about this tour! Save you money folks and do a self walking tour of the jail and the graveyards. You will be far more pleased. If you plan to be frightened on this tour, you will be sadly disappointed.

I'm very sorry to say that we did not enjoy this tour. Spending most of the time stuck in a standstill traffic, seated in terrible bench seats was really uncomfortable, but not the scariest part of the tour. There was absolutely no walking portion as they state on their website. We could not help but to feel bamboozled and would not recommend it, as it is most definitely a tourist trap. It's a shame, as I was hoping to be something I could bring my children to experience. The really scary part is their poor social distancing practices. Although the rows are divided with plexiglass panels, the seating is not limited (as they also state in their website). The trolley was packed with people and our seating was assigned by a coordinator. I was seated literally within arms reach from the people seating right next to me across the isle. This tour has been open for a while and they know how bad traffic can get in Old Town St. Augustine. A simple change in route or experience could make all the difference in the world. I would have preferred to spend more time walking at the old jail than stuck in traffic.
