Old Jail Museum

Get ready for an up close and personal encounter of the town’s most haunted building, the Old Jail. Listed on the Florida and National Register of Haunted Places and is the site of countless documented paranormal experiences. Unlock the secret of an (EVP) voice recording captured during a real paranormal investigation and its possible connection to the well-known hangings carried out on the site. Cameras or camera phones are recommended to take pictures through the building’s famous and ominous windows and potentially capture something unworldly! Send us your pictures and we will evaluate them for paranormal activity and may even share them on our social media pages.

The tour would have been fun except for a bunch of drunk people on the tour. We couldn’t hear and they were disrespectful to the others. Our tour guide tried their best. We were on a 10:30p tour. Maybe it would have been better to have booked an earlier tour but they were full. Would not book a late tour like this again.

Our tour was cut short and we did not get to see it all. Because traffic was horrible and they only allow so much time for each tour, ours was cut short to stay within their time limit. Our guide was John and driver was Stu and both were very nice. John was exceptional with his information and adding his personality to his comments. Great guide.

Boarding was not first come first serve. We were first in line, and ended up waiting while seats were assigned to us. From our vantage point, we were unable to see the things being talked about.
