Old Jail Museum

Get ready for an up close and personal encounter of the town’s most haunted building, the Old Jail. Listed on the Florida and National Register of Haunted Places and is the site of countless documented paranormal experiences. Unlock the secret of an (EVP) voice recording captured during a real paranormal investigation and its possible connection to the well-known hangings carried out on the site. Cameras or camera phones are recommended to take pictures through the building’s famous and ominous windows and potentially capture something unworldly! Send us your pictures and we will evaluate them for paranormal activity and may even share them on our social media pages.

I’m ok that we didn’t see any ghosts that wasn’t the bad part. Our tour guide Ivy was awesome! For one hour, you circle the same spots a few times. We stopped at maybe 4 places to attempt to see ghosts and some stops weren’t long enough to try to see because we are in traffic. A lot of times we just drove around holding up traffic. Stories were interesting! $20 a person a bit steep for a trolley ride, should be $10. The walking tour probably would have been better.

Riding around hearing stories is boring. We need to get off the tram and experience some of these locations. We used to go in Ripley's and that was fun. I also had 5 drunk people sitting in front of me and could barely hear the stories! Ivy and Oliver were great hosts though. The picture is from the back of the Lightner Museum. There isn't a light or light pole there so I guess it's a ghost.
