Old Jail Museum

Get ready for an up close and personal encounter of the town’s most haunted building, the Old Jail. Listed on the Florida and National Register of Haunted Places and is the site of countless documented paranormal experiences. Unlock the secret of an (EVP) voice recording captured during a real paranormal investigation and its possible connection to the well-known hangings carried out on the site. Cameras or camera phones are recommended to take pictures through the building’s famous and ominous windows and potentially capture something unworldly! Send us your pictures and we will evaluate them for paranormal activity and may even share them on our social media pages.

Tour was misleading. Was museum was included however we stood in one room and the rest of the wax museum was blocked off. When we asked the tour guide why she said we could come back and pay for it. We went by the jail but was not able to go in. She said we would have to go separately and pay to go in. She was knowledgeable however she was overly dramatic.

Hello Steven, The Oldest Drug Store and the Chamber of Horrors are the only rooms that is included in Ghost and Gravestones tour. This information is located on our website, "And face your fears in the exclusive nighttime experience at Potter’s Wax Museum’s Chamber of Horrors…". Due to Covid, we are not entering the Old Jail at night. The number of guests on the Ghost Trolley will not allow social distancing in the Old Jail. There wasnothingmemorableabout this tour. They lead you to believe that you are going to experience SOMETHING but no it was none other than a ride through town with a very animated story teller. All five of us were extremely bored and disappointed. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

It was great!...the guys were great and funny! It rained, and they were right there with ponchos at hand. Lots of great history to learn.
