Bruce and Melissa were awesome! Bruce hilarious as ever! Melissa was a great driver and catcher of us at the bottom of our zip lining. Definitely would recommend the longest zip line in Hawaii by this company. Friendly and made the experience memorable.

We had a super fun experience with Outfitters Kauai. Our guide Bruce did a great job with our family of four (including two teens). I was pretty hesitant when we got to the big grand finale zip line but as it turns out, there was nothing to be afraid of. The worst part is the platform and if you can get past that, you’ll be glad you did. My tip: shut your eyes and don’t look down when you’re waiting to be released lol. The rest of the family did just fine and in the end, I’m so glad I didn’t chicken out. What a fun experience!

On a visit to the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon/Washington 2 years ago, I wanted to try ziplining. But we never found time. Besides, it was November, with near freezing temperatures. So ziplining in 70-degree weather was on my to-do list for Kauai. I chose the PowerLine Zip Tour: four lines, including the FlyLine, the longest on Kauai at about 4000 feet long. We donned our harnesses at the office and listened to a safety talk. We were not prepared for what came next. We climbed aboard their tour truck and endured a rugged, harsh, and brutally bumpy potholed ride to the first zipline platform. The second and third lines are within walking distance. After the third, chilled water and portable toilets are provided. You remove your harness and take a short truck ride up to the FlyLine launch tower, where you are fitted for the special harnesses, and are given new instructions unique to this ride. That should give you a better idea of what to expect. One other thing: you will not be allowed to take photos on a ride unless you have a secure wrist strap for your camera. We lucked out, just avoiding any significant rain. I absolutely loved the ziplines, especially the high speed prone FlyLine. Our guides Ross and Hannah were knowledgeable and professional, but also calming and friendly to one client who needed it – the perfect combination.

Aloha KendianaJones, You Rock!!! Mahalo for the excellent review. Your description of the PowerLine zipline tour is spot on. My apologies for the condition of the bumpy road. It is a working cattle ranch, dirt roads and all. The crazy amount of rainfall we had makes maintenance a constant challenge. Ross and Hannah are great. Mahalo for noticing. Hope we see you again once the COVID-19 is behind us. We are closed for now but we will be back. Stay well.
