We loved this tour! Uncle Jim was such a great tour guide. We spent a lot of the day getting on and off the bus as Jim took us to different spots along the way to the volcano to show different parts of the island affected by the volcanoes. This made the drive seem not so long. We went on some bush walks and Jim told us quite a few stories which were quite interesting. He is a very knowledgeable man. We saw the smoke of the volcano in the daytime and then were taken back later at night to see the glow of the volcano as well. Jim also stopped on the way back to do some star gazing. It is so clear out there. We were amazed at the amount of stars you could see with the naked eye. Having a telescope there just mad it so much more amazing. The dinner we had was great. The food was beautiful and was good to sit with other couples and meet some new people. It was a long tour but definitely worth it.

Our experience was amazing! Our guide was very knowledgable about the island. It was a long day, but we saw so much! The lunch was from a local deli and very tasty. Dinner at the restaurant was good. We sat at a large table and enjoyed visiting with the others on the tour. I particularly enjoyed seeing the Kilauea crater in the day and then again after dark.
