What a disappointment this trip was! Our driver, Warren, lacked the basic skills I expect of a tour guide. At our first stop, he did not make it clear to everyone as to when we were expected back at the van. Some of us understood 15 minutes, though he did not give us an exact time. Some of the group didn't understand this and showed up 30 minutes later. About halfway through the tour, someone asked when we were stopping for our "no host" lunch and he told us there was no lunch stop (though it was clearly stated in the confirmation letter and this was an all day 9-hour trip). After driving by a nice restaurant in the park he decided we would have a lunch stop and took us to a bowling alley. He shared very little information throughout the day and the only time we had at the visitor's center was to watch a video, that was actually quite good. We had no time to look at the other exhibits whatsoever. Also, shame on Dynamic Tours for selling the very back left and right seats because the floor space in front of the seat is entirely gobbled up by the tire well forcing the passenger to sit with their knees bent and under their chin! I chose this tour because it seemingly worked nicely with our cruise itinerary and we were back to the ship in time but I cannot recommend this tour.

This tour picks you up right at the port in Hilo! It covers a lot of territory on the big island! I highly recommend it!

We had a very enjoyable tour with "John" our driver, he was informative and very good at his job. Many great sites and beautiful spots. Would do this tour again. J.
