This is a must-see experience to anyone visiting the Hawaiian Islands. We booked a day trip from Oahu and the driver, junior, was prompt at our airport pickup and dropoff. Although we arranged our own flight, the timing was perfect. This was our first visit to the islands, and the opportunity to visit the Big Island and to experience this tour was well above our expectations! We saw actual live lava, smelt and felt the steam from the escaping gases, and saw where lava still flows into the ocean. We were amazed at the devastation as far as the eyes can see of the damage caused by the lava-- and the amount of craters in the Park. We also enjoyed a great buffet and garden experience, and Black Sand Beach is a location we would return to stay. We got to see the giant sea turtles, and over-all experience part of the islands missing from a simple visit to honolulu where we were staying. Trust Roberts and Viator to provide the experience everyone needs to have checked on their bucket list.

The Guide was all we could have asked for! LJ contacted us the day before to ensure we knew how to meet him and understand what we wanted to get out of the tour. We were lucky enough to have him all to ourselves, so he was totally into what ever we wanted to see. He was very informative and had a great sense of humor, making every stop fun. He tried his best to get the volcano to send up some plumage, but it was not to be. I would highly recommend the tour mainly because of LJ .... The guy loves what he does and makes it a great experience because of it.

The tour was great. Getting on the tour was a nightmare. My wife and I were traveling to Hawaii by cruise ship. We were told the local tour company was Dynamic Tour Hawaii and to meet them on the dock. There was no sign of them. After several phone calls we were put on a full bus by Green Travel.
