Great time, taught us much about Molokai and of Hawaii Sailing Traditions. He made sure to contact us to know the best time of the day to come in for the tide. We also got to see Turtles and a Hawaiian Monk Seal.

Great Outing ! Lohiao is an expert third generation local waterman. We really enjoyed all the historical and cultural information he shared with us along with a super fun sailing experience. Highly recommended !

I loved experiencing this traditional style of sailing surrounded by the natural beauty of Molokai. Lohiao was a fantastic guide! He is an extremely experienced sailor and paddler with deep family connections to the voyaging canoe movement. He was great about explaining the dynamics of padding and knew all about sailing the waters around Molokai. On our sail we saw coral reefs and lots of sea turtles. The water was turquoise and so clear. One of the things I appreciated about this sail was meeting Lohiao's family -- they made my friend and I feel welcome like guests rather than tourists. Mahalo and much respect to the Paoa Family.
