Daniel was very knowledgeable of the waterfalls and Hawaiian history in general. It was a great hike and he kept a good pace for everyone in the group.

The hike itself was beautiful, the guide (he did not tell us his name) was not very good. He seemed very distracted. On the way down I fell and he stood at a distance watching my grandson of 16, helping me up. He did not lift a finger. He could ask you something and when you answered, he just lost interest and walked away. Very disappointing. We were supposed to get snacks, but we did not see any. For the money we paid for it, I expected more.

Aloha and mahalo for taking the time to share your review. Please let us know the date of your tour so we can talk with our guide. This seems so out of character for any of our staff that we employ. Please contact our office 808-734-4214

The guide was knowledgeable and knew a lot about the history and geology of the region. The hike is a bit steep in places and also slippery but the view at the end is worth it. Wear sturdy footwear.
