Join us to experience the art of Wine & Food Pairing in a fun, casual way. Discover why certain wines taste better with specific foods. We’ve partnered with local wineries & chefs, to offer you a wonderful arrangement of unique tastings.

Meet your Guide in Gazebo in the Healdsburg Plaza. After a brief orientation of town, you’ll be on to your first winery visit where you’ll enjoy a private seated wine & food pairing. You'll continue your adventure to enjoy another tasting of boutique wines creatively balanced with simple foods. Each pairing will make you rethink the way you experience food and wine. Listen to the winemakers & their families as they share their stories, passion and unparalleled love of the fertile land they call home.

Pictures are misleading, as is the itinerary. This was not what we experienced. Though Carol was very nice, the "Food paring" was pretty lame. First stop was a bakery, expecting to sit down and do some sampling. This did not happen. Clerk came out with 'to go' bags of a single cookie each (though very good cookie), all we did was stand around in the way in the middle of the room, while Carol talked about the history of the bakery. Then we left. Second stop was nice with the wines, tough very light with the pairings of a few tiny bites, including much over spiced sausage that overpowered the delicate wine. Tea shop was great...huge selection of tea, sampled two beverages. Best part though was the chocolate and soaps available to buy, but could have done that on our own. Next was a nice wine stop, but paired with take out pizza..huh?? Then another wine tasting (which was the best) but paired with just a plate of smoked chicken. Don't expect to experience a true wine and food pairing on this.

We visited Healdsburg, without much pre-planning, but used the TripAdvisor website. We wanted an experience that gave us the “flavor” of the community. And WOW, my friend and I were impressed. The experience was about 4 hours and our guide, Carol, was over the top knowledgeable about the tasting rooms and shops we visited. There were 5 stops over all, and each included a tasting of some kind. We went to 3 wineries, a bakery and a tea shop. The food pairings were either supplied by the business or Carol would get the arranged foods to compliment the wines. In my case she knew I was wanting to try a particular item at a restaurant and procured a sample. Carol was an outstanding representative of the tour group. I HIGHLY recommend this experience! I would do it again just to enjoy it all again!! PS- we got in on a cancellation, so keep trying!!!
