Overview

The ultimate multi activity package: a helicopter tour, a dogsled tour and a landing on the lower glacier to explore the melt pools and crevasses.

Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team.

After the tour the helicopter takes you to the lower glaciers where you will land on the hard ice between the crevasses to see the majestic blue melt pools.

Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 250 pounds including clothing and luggage will be required to pay a surcharge of $150. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.

This was by far one of the most incredible experiences my partner and I have ever had. We did one of the most inclusive packages offered - the private helicopter tour with the upper and lower glacier landings, dogsled tour, champagne and strawberries, and photos. Brandon (our pilot) was very friendly. The views were amazing, the dogs are so playful and energetic, and it was so cool to walk on the glacier. Definitely unforgettable. Only a few areas where the experience could be improved: 1) We spent a little extra time on the upper glacier and less time on the lower glacier, where we had the champagne and strawberries - which meant we were scarfing / chugging them down. It would be nice to have more time on the lower glacier to enjoy the experience, even if it means spending a little less time petting the dogs. 2) Even though we paid nearly $1K for the package, we only got a handful of photos. There were some moments where we didn't take pictures on our own phones because our pilot was taking pictures for us, and we didn't realize we would never see them. Although we knew there were different photo packages, for such a hefty price point we figured we would at least get all the photos (which are no extra cost to the vendor). We were told we could leave after the tour and that we did not need to discuss the photo package.

Hands down the best experience we have had in Alaska so far! Our pilot Brandon “flyin Hawaiian” was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and funny and made the tour so much fun. Kat was also awesome getting us started and squeezing in our last minute glacier landing! (MUST DO) our dog sledding was an experience we will never forget, we got to meet the FAMOUS Dallas Seavey! He shared some really interesting facts and he truly cares about his dogs! The girls up there were also amazing, 10/10 recommend so worth it!!! Thank you!

We had an amazing flight seeing, glacier landing, 2 hour trip with Brandon our pilot. It was a beautiful day to see glaciers, moose, bears, and mountain goats. Definitely a highlight of our trip and we'd love to do it again!
