Within 10 minutes of Moab, you are at the Hell's Revenge Trail, full of steep ridges and roller-coaster terrain. Follow your experienced guide along a thrilling route that takes you crawling up a rock incline called Devil’s Backbone. Hold on as your 4x4 jostles along the slickrock, formed from Navajo sandstone, before you descend into a low point in the narrow canyon, named Lake Michigan for the water that pools there.

What a rush!! Hell's Revenge is not for the faint of heart, but boy is it thrilling & amazing! You're rock climbing in a 4x4, so you're going pretty slow most of the time up steep hills & down. But every so often, you come across sand, where you get to let it rip & kick up some dust! We were all laughing like kids! We took our 4 year old & while she was actually a little scared/nervous for the first 20mins, once we took a break & hit the sand portions, she relaxed & we've never heard such amazing laughs from her. It was a blast for all! Our guide was very friendly & informative if we had any questions. It's worth every penny! I'd personally say Devil's Backbone was the scariest part to cross, but its the very first thing you cross, so at least it's out of the way early.

Thanks for the review! Your daughter was super cute, I'm so glad she had a blast. I think the Devil's Backbone really sets the tone, it shows you what you are capable of and what the machine is capable of so it really is the scariest part for most people because there's still some uncertainty and nerves lingering. Once you get past that, just like your daughter, most people relax and start to embrace & enjoy the exhilaration of the experience. I hope you & your family come tour with us again!

We had an amazing time. The staff was very professional and kind. Our tour guide Ben was fabulous. Not only did he show himself to be an excellent driver on the challenging terrain, he offered a lot of historical education on the area. I would highly recommend taking this tour.

The knowledge guides possess is one of the most valuable parts of going on a guided tour. It makes for a more intriguing and fascinating experience, and I'm glad you enjoyed everything Ben brings to the table; we sure appreciate having him on our team!
