Please note: this walk is not at all strenuous. Obviously there's some stairs but this is done at a leisurely pace and suitable for almost everyone.

Generally SF is dry May-October. There can be fog in the summertime, mostly in the morning. Temps rarely above 70F (21C) or below 50F (10C). Rain may cancel.

This was such a great experience! We visited two of the most famous mosaic staircases in SF, as well as some other stairways in San Francisco’s whimsical and hilly Inner Sunset district. Greg was a fantastic guide and a fountain of knowledge about the area’s history. Though I’ve been in the Bay Area for twenty years, I learned a ton of new and fascinating facts. Greg incorporated fun anecdotes, references to pop culture, took great photos of participants (great for dating profiles!), and even left us with a succulent to plant! Greg also had a great relationship with locals in the neighborhood and it was charming to witness this friendly community vibe that is often missing or invisible in urban environments. Highly recommend!

Loved Greg's tour. Booked it for a group of girlfriends and we had a great time walking around the city, seeing beautiful staircases and views, and hearing lots of interesting stories about the history behind these.
