If you visit New York we recomend to book a tour to explor the High Line Chelsea Meatpacking tour. You learn more about the history of the area and if you have christian as a tourguide you definitly have a great tour! A tourguide whit a lot of knowledge but also a Nice person. So book the tour and ask for Christian 👍🏻

Very well organised with clear instructions on where to meet. I was a little worried about the size of the group but it turns out there were 2 guides so i was in a group of 12 which was a manageable size. Christian Neely was my tour guide and he was really knowledgeable. Walking through Chelsea market right at the start is see it very quiet was great so when I returned after the tour I had photos of the building with less people in the way and could then look in the shops/have lunch. Good to do on a Sunday if you like people watching although it did mean some of the recommended eating stops were busy.

Very informative tour by Eric Williams, our guide. Started with Chelsea Market where we learned of its history and transformation to a vibrant new purpose. Walked the Highline - very interesting story of how it was created, fell into disuse and was ultimately saved and restored to become an "elevated park". We then walked the Meatpacking district. Eric had great personality - really enjoyed his presentation.
