We had a highly enjoyable High Line and Greenwich Village food tour with Billy. We ended up being the only 2 people on the tour that day, so we got out own private tour! We had wanted to walk the High Line to experience a different side of New York, and we decided to get a tour rather than walk it ourselves, and we are so glad we did! Although you are able to walk along yourself, it is far more enjoyable and entertaining to learn the history and background of certain locations and buildings, and to really know what you are looking at. Billy was very knowledgeable, and you can see he puts a lot of effort in to making the tours as informative as possible. As well as facts about buildings, history etc, Billy also often told anecdotes about famous events that had happened in certain places along the tour which was really enjoyable and gives you a much better perspective of what you are looking at. On to the food tour! As many of the comments below have pointed out, you certainly get value for money in terms of food! We started with a meringue pastry and some brioche, then we had some chocolates, a slice of pizza at the famous Bleecker St (amazing!!), bagels, an amazing sandwich and then finished off with cannoli's. You definitely won't leave this tour hungry! But its not just quantity. The quality of every single item was incredible. Manhattan Walking Tours clearly put lots of effort in to making sure you get to visit the best of the best in terms of food in the area. We were highly impressed with the food on offer at every single stop. Billy also went out his way to get us waters while we were walking about, and drinks and coffees at each stop too. We would highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our whole trip, and we can't recommend Billy enough. He was knowledgeable, but also very personable and easy to talk to.

Hi Steven! We cannot thank you enough for such a wonderfully detailed review. It really shows how having a local guide can elevate your New York City experience. Especially when it's a guide like Billy!. We are so lucky to have him on our team and will be sure to pass this along to him.

My two friends and I (girls trip) did this tour today with Annabel. She was very engaging and informative. We were happy to get to know the High Line Park, Chelsea Market, and Greenwich Village areas. It was a lot of walking, but that made us feel like we deserved all of our tasty treats. As we reflected tonight on our time in NYC, we all deemed this a highlight!
