I cannot say enough about this amazing tour of the High Line and Greenwich Village. First off it was a small group and the others on tour were great. Billy was a wealth of knowledge and a really cool guy. He had lots of interesting tidbits of knowledge that rounded out the tour beautifully. One highlight was when one of the cofounders of the High Line stopped and visited with us...what a bonus!!! And it was fun to see Billy's reaction when he realized who this was. If you are planning a trip to New York and want to do some guided tours, this one's a must and I would hope you'd be lucky enough to get Billy as your guide as well.

Combine the High Line with the Whitney and you have several hours of quality cultural activity. My guide for the High Line was Ollie and she really made the tour special. Added a lot of color to the history of the park and pointed out many features I would have missed on my own.

Billy took us on a walk down the Highline on a beautiful summer day and added lots of facts and detail that enriched our experience of this unique piece of New York. We then went into Greenwich Village for its history and excellent food. The streets have quite a different feel to the rest of New York. The food was varied but with a strong Italian influence and all very good. The highlight was the pizza on Bleeker St. As good as any in Rome. Billy was an excellent well informed guide and sent us a detailed email afterwards summarising our visit. Really worthwhile.
