Our two hour Highlights of Charleston walking tour guides guests through the historic French Quarter and South of Broad neighborhoods of downtown Charleston. Along the way, your guide will describe the long history, unique culture, architecture, and geography of Charleston and the greater lowcountry area, painting a detailed picture of how Charleston's tumultuous past formed the city now beloved by travelers the world over. You'll view some of the city's oldest houses of worship, burial sites, theaters, the forts of Charleston harbor, and the antebellum mansions that look out across the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among many other historic and picturesque sites. Our guides also offer their expert advice on other activities, restaurants, and bars for guests to explore once they've finished their tour.

Dustin was an amazing tour guide. He had an incredible amount of knowledge on anything and everything Charleston. What we loved the most about Oyster Point Historic Walking Tour is that Dustin made it fun as well. I highly recommend this tour company over the others because he does not try and pack in as many people as some of the other tour groups. Makes it a much more personal experience.

Our guide gave very thorough explanations of hundreds of years of history. He understood the local culture, religions, economic development, causes and impacts of wars and politics. After more than 2 hours of walking and listening, we felt that we really knew Charleston.

Our guide was very knowledgable of Charleston, its history and weaving good stories in with each stop. Wasn't too hot so that made the few mile walk manageable.
