These unique experiences are a departure from traditional scavenger hunts and are created to allow visitors to a new place to go deeper fast. They allow opportunities to talk to locals about fun subjects, get creative with the environment and act as detectives on the hunt for art and interesting local stories.
The magical part is the energy and uniqueness you bring to the table because every game ends up looking a little bit different. Its an chance to connect with your team mates in a lighthearted and fun way, get plenty of fun photos and videos and allow yourselves to just play.
The game is designed for all ages of people who enjoy exploring and being creative. Little ones do well on an adult led team.

I loved Tara's new scavenger hunt! When we heard about this one we wanted to try it as we have done a few of her other hunts in other locations. This one was quite different and the only one she offers that can also be done on bike. Steamboat is a bike friendly town! Our family split into two teams- the hikers and the bikers. The bikers got a 3 hour rental at a local bike shop( surprisingly reasonable after Sedona prices!) and each team got a slightly different mission sheet. We loved the Yampa Core Trail along the river and the clues at the Bud Werner Library and the beautiful Yampa Valley Botanical Garden were fun and engaging. The bike team had a blast, too and we all got great pics. I do have to say this is a VERY friendly town and we really enjoyed how kind everyone was helping us on the hunt.

Thanks for being one of the first to do the hunt. I first came to Steamboat years ago and loved this beautiful town with the Yampa running through it and its stellar library. I was happy to come back and design a new hunt here!
