We were so excited to visit and explore Steamboat Springs for our 26th wedding anniversary. Going on a scavenger hunt seemed like the perfect way to do that. We booked a reservation for Saturday at 2:00 & received a phone call at 8:35 the night before asking us to reschedule because “another opportunity” came up for our tour guide. When we told her we had obligations before and after our scheduled time and couldn’t reschedule, she actually got an attitude with me for not being “more flexible.” She did refund the money, thankfully, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm sorry to hear this guest had a unsatisfactory experience reserving my scavenger hunt. As a small business, I occasionally need to request minor time changes, which is rare but can happen in about 1 of every 1000 bookings. In this case, I asked if we could start just 1 hour earlier or later that day. While I aim to be as flexible as possible with scheduling, I recognize not all guests may be amenable to any time changes. Though I'm disappointed the booking was canceled at Sabrinas request due to a small time change request, I respect this guest's inflexibility and decision. I hope this was an isolated incident, as many others have greatly enjoyed the creative, intimate experience my scavenger hunt provides for exploring Steamboat. Please don't let one cancelation due to scheduling inflexibility discourage you from joining the fun.

Our family (kids ages 10, 8, and 6) thoroughly enjoyed this unique scavenger hunt. Such an engaging way to learn about Steamboat. We walked away with lots of funny and sweet memories. Highly recommend!

Thank you for doing my hunt! Yes, being outgoing or at the very least be willing to pretend for a couple hours is a big help! There is a social element that makes my games different than any other games and offers unique opportunities to engage with friendly locals.
