This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

Kyle was an amazing tour guide! He forgave me when we were a little late due to electric scooter issues, which I appreciated. He was extremely knowledgeable about the cities we drove through and about the park in general. It was clear that he loved guiding people through the Rockies cuz he even gave advice to a couple not involved with our tour group. He went above and beyond by making sure everyone had adequate water, carrying it himself, and even took photos for us so that we didn't have to strain to take selfies. Would definitely go hiking with him again!

Our recent visit to Estes Park was our first for my wife and me. Kyle met us with a smile and a handshake and whisked us away to a day of fun and adventure we will long remember! His enthusiasm for hiking and his positive personality made us feel like kids again. He kept everybody hydrated and in a great mood all the way up the trail while taking lots of pictures for us whenever we stopped to rest. A true nature-lover, Kyle enjoyed both us and the wilderness and deepened our appreciation for the Rocky Mountains. He’s found his passion in life and made it contagious in an awesome way! Our guide, Mel, was fabulous. Very informative and enthusiastic. Hike was well paced to a beautiful lake! Gorgeous vistas and saw a moose! Mel provides a great hiking experience!
