There were 6 of us including our tour guide, Mel, who was excellent (extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, etc.). On the way out to the mountains she offered a lot of interesting background info; really anything we wanted to know, she was pleased to talk about. We got to stop and get coffee/snacks on the way there, and then for the hike we went up to Gem Lake and even got to do a bit of optional "rock scrambling." We all were able to go at our own pace and Mel made sure to allow breaks when needed. I thought it was a great hiking trip for solo travelers since the transportation is included from downtown Denver and you don't have to find your way around the trails by yourself (or find parking). I also was impressed that they offered a vegan lunch option - grateful for that! Overall it was an enjoyable tour that I would recommend to anyone wanting to experience the mountains more than just sight-seeing. Thanks Mel and Aspire Tours!!

This was the first thing Iā€™ve ever really done on my own and it was ah-mazing! Kyle is very welcoming and extremely knowlageble and funny. He takes you to a trail that is not crowded with tourists and heā€™s very aware of everyoneā€™s pace and abilities. I also donā€™t think there is was one question he couldnā€™t answer.. and I ask a lot! Couldnā€™t rate this trip more. Brilliant. Even if he has turned me into an elkaholic!

Had a fantastic day in the Rockies with Austin. The driving was smooth, his conversation well worth paying attention to. It was made even better by the superb weather along with a wonderful group of people to hike with. Austin was quite the attentive guide, able to tell us much about the Flora and Fauna of the area, as well as moving at a good Pace but always stopping to check in with folks to see if anyone needed a break, needed some water, or whatever. The icing on the cake was, at the end of the trail, when some rain started, Austin recommended that we wait under the shelter while he went to bring the van up for us since we had to park a ways off due to a full parking area. I'm thrilled I had this adventure yesterday. Would highly recommend it.
