This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

We had a great time on this tour. It’s a good choice for anyone that wants to spend a day hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park but isn’t sure where to start. Our guide, Gentry, was excellent; friendly, enthusiastic and accommodating. Plus she knew all the insider tips to help us make the most out of our day. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your guide ask her about rocks!

Aaron led our small group hike up to Cub Lake. His affable approach helped foster a positive group dynamic and his extensive knowledge of local plants and wildlife instilled deep meaning to the many wonderful natural features we encountered on the trail. While that would have been as much as anyone could reasonably ask, we were fortunate enough to come upon a strapping bull moose very close to our path. Such a sighting in the wild made a good journey great.
