This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

Scenery was beautiful and guide was fabulous. Views from top of the mountain were mind blowing, even some some elk.

3 women from Los Angeles...in search of some adventure in RMNP. We had Kyle as our guide and he took us on a moderate hike up to Gem Lake.... Kyle is not only extremely knowledgeable about RMNP, this guy knows the terrain, whether and various activities within the region. Throughout the tour, he was professional, courteous, friendly, educational and funny. Lunch and water were included and we made a great pit stop in the town of Lyons for some excellent coffee, snacks and pastries. The hike was the highlight but getting to see "Big Steve" at the golf course on Estes Park was the cherry on top. I would recommend this excursion to anyone wanting to get a guided hike in RMNP....Kyle is the man, he will get you there, provide some knowledge and ensure your safety and security while effortlessly exploring the Rocky mountains.
