This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

We took the hiking tour with Kyle yesterday. Spectacular day and everything we were looking for. Kyle arrived promptly at our pick-up location and took us (group of 5) into the park (with a brief pit stop in Lyons for a bathroom break and a quick tour of Estes Park). Kyle is a local resident and his knowledge of the park and was evident - made sure we were all comfortable with the level of difficulty. Hiked to Gem Lake where we had a relaxing lunch then back down. He stopped for areas with amazing views so we had plenty of photo ops. On the way back he gave us tips for restaurants and other activities in Denver and Boulder. Perfect day tour and I would highly recommend - Kyle did a great job and gave us a fantastic experience!
