Four of us did the 4pm cruise, 2 adults, and 2 teens. Wasn't crowded, and saw a number of dolphins, which we really enjoyed. The captain was knowledgeable, but somewhat monotone (like he was a bit bored of repeating the same thing day after day), and seemed to speak too much about Dafuskie Island. We did a dolphin kayak cruise a few years ago and I'd recommend that over a boat cruise if you're up for the activity.

My sister, her daughter, and I took the Dolphin Ocean Cruise on 10/12/2019. I accidentally booked the 1400 (2 PM) cruise; the cruise operator switched us to the 4 PM cruise with no question, even though the 2 PM cruise had already sailed. VERY grateful for the customer service. The cruise itself was splendid. Not only did we see lots of dolphins, we also saw two bald eagles in the wild -- a sight that awed my family. Note that the cruise does not leave the harbor.

The crew was very friendly, knowledgeable, and kept my family engaged for the duration of the cruise. We saw multiple pods of dolphins throughout the tour and had a fantastic view. With fun and affordability I'd recommend this cruise to anyone!
