We arranged a sunset dolphin nature cruise which went out of Harbour Town on Hilton Head Island. Was a slow moving cruise that had 3 levels of viewing. The Captain narrated while we were touring the Calibogue Sound. He let us know when the Bottlenose Dolphins were around us but most of the time you could see them coming out of the water. Saw dozens of Dolphins. We went toward Daufuskie Island which can only be accessed by boat, ferry, or helicopter. We watched the sunset too. Very pleasant relaxing cruise. Price was $29.95 adults and $10 children for about 45 minutes on the water. Note—you have to pay $8 per vehicle to enter Harbour Town to take this cruise. Worth the money.

Wow! we had a diverse group with ages 5 to 83 years young. We all loved it. beautiful nature , big vistas, cool breezes , gentle boating yet covered a lot of distance.

Decided to take the Dolphin Cruise, and yes you see Dolphins; however, at first, we just cruised toward the Atlantic Ocean with the Captain pointing out different sights, then the first Dolphin was sighted. Wow! Excitement, then a Shrimp Boat came into view and after that, we got to see many Dolphins. Fun and you learn many facts about the area.
