Vagabond Cruise

Our high-speed cruise allows you four hours in Savannah to sight-see, shop, take a trolley tour and find a restaurant for lunch. The Spirit offers an air-conditioned lower cabin, and an open-aired upper deck with a canopy for shade. Enjoy a drink from the Spirit's full bar, and take advantage of discounted trolley tickets available for purchase throughout the trip. I recommend with qualifications - The ferry itself has plastic outdoor chairs and tables which are very clumsy in the space, a negative for comfort. I was travelling in a group of 3…boarding starts 30 mins before departure…we arrived 20mins before departure both ways and had difficulty getting seating together. The engine is very very loud and vibrates throughout the space…beware if you are prone to headaches. The 3.5 hrs for touring Savannah allowed a brisk walk up Bull St to Forsyth Park, and back along Abercorn. A few stops to browse small shops along the way (SCAD and Satchel are great) then a quick 20 minute lunch stop. The trip is okay for the ferry tour through the waterways but a vehicle would be preferred for really touring Savannah and enjoying a sit down lunch. Many passengers booked the trolley tour. The crew get 5 Stars. They were lovely.

Nice to see a little of the area from the water. Lots of restaurants in the riverfront area of Savannah. Food was good at Dockside restaurant.

St Patrick's Day cruise to Savannah was perfect. The communication was excellent, boat departure on time, Everything was super clean, the docking in Savannah was an excellent location most importantly the STAFF was Amazing. Very friendly, attentive, helpful and just overall pleasant. We loved everything about this trip and will book it every year!
