When I first began researching things to do on our Tucson trip, I found Tucson Bike Tours and knew that was my first choice, and they didn't disappoint. Jimmy was an excellent guide! He clearly loves the history and shared interesting stories and pictures at our frequent stops along the way. He's also safety conscious and adept at leading a group safely through city traffic when necessary. Although I was a little concerned about the 11 mile distance, that was never a problem. The terrain is mostly flat, and Tucson cooperated by providing lovely weather. Seeing a city on a bike gives you a different perspective. I would definitely recommend the Historic Tucson tour and take one of the others offered if I'm back in Tucson.

Thank you for the review. Yep, you picked the right tour. The day tour is my most popular tour. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I've taken bike tours in other cities and this is the best bike tour I've taken. Jimmy was great! He was very concerned about safety, used hand signals to guide us through the city and navigated the streets at a comfortable pace. He was extremely informative about the history of Tucson and the distinctive neighborhoods of the city. I started out knowing a little about Tucson and finished by learning a lot. We stopped at all the important or interesting locations of Tucson. Jimmy was patient while I stopped for photos and answered all of my questions. Awesome tour.

Thank you for your review! While I do indeed try to provide the best tour I can, I'll let you in on a key ingredient of an awesome tour: Riders who bring positive energy. Thanks for making the day a success.

Learning the history of where you are visiting always makes you feel better connected and the Tucson Bike Tour with guide Jimmy was a great way to experience that. He was very knowledgeable and adds some extra little touches (music & a snack) to make the experience unforgettable. No one in our group had been on a bike in years but the flat roadways and frequent stops made it a breeze. Our son and daughter-in-law are Tucson residents and found several out of the way shops where they will now frequent to get "authentic" goods that they would never have known about if they did not take this tour.

Well that is high praise indeed! I know I am rather picky on how I spend my time and money when I take a vacation. I always view my tours from that lense: Would this be a memorable and worthwhile part of most peoples' trips? Glad you agreed and then some!
