We enjoyed our bike tour through the old part of Tucson with Jimmy. It was an excellent way to see some of the different sections of the old Barrios. Jimmy is very knowledgeable about this part of the town and presented interesting, less known facts about sights and stops along the ride. Two fun stops were the "Bike Church" built of old bike parts and the rest stop for tortillas at Anita's market. Jimmy has planned a great route through quiet back streets bypassing car traffic. Jimmy was always aware that everyone negotiated corners and street crossings safely. I highly recommend this tour as a way to see and learn about some out of the way parts of Tucson.

Thanks for mentioning that the route is quiet for the most part. I planned it that way and I mention it on the website, but always nice for folks to hear it from somebody who has taken the tour.

We took the morning tour and we both really enjoyed it. I would recommend going early during a visit to Tucson as you get a nice introduction to the neighborhoods and some of the sites of interest. Lots of fun history and local lore. The stop for fresh flour tortillas was great! It was an easy ride for both of us, so you don't need to be an expert on a bike to enjoy the tour.

Glad you liked the tortillas. I eat them just about everyday and still like them. Speaking of food, thanks for that bargain produce tip. College students know where the deals are!

For my girlfriend's going away party we did a bike tour of downtown Tucson. And Tucson bike tours did a great job of teaching us about the history of Tucson and in a fun way. Jimmy was so much fun. I look forward to doing another tour when I have family in town.

Cool, bring the family! Just a reminder for Tucson locals: once you've taken a tour, never pay again. Just bring at least 2 new paying customers and you ride for free. Just book the tickets you are paying for and add a message in the notes line.
