Early Sunday morning tour in April. Perfect weather and easy access to Tucson on its day off. Start to finish, Jimmy had it covered. He has done a great job mapping out this course. I remember thinking: "A lot of homework in getting this together. The street veteran aspect sure paid off for us." We are both in our 70's and had no problem on the mostly level thoroughfares. Highly recommend this as a uniquely interactive tourist activity. (P.S. The surprise "bakery run" for a local confection was a nice touch. Jimmy's treat.)

I'm glad you enjoyed the route. I have a few variations, but there is always a lot of overlap. After scouting the route for about a month, years ago, I remember thinking, "Wow, that seems to fit together nicely." Oh, can't promise bakery, sometimes they are closed or slammed, but most of the time it is part of the tour.

I guide bike tours Bicycle Tours of Atlanta, so I was ready to be critical. BUT, I was so impressed! I want to do it again! Jimmy weaves a full historic and present day picture of Tucson. He has very good instincts on how to adjust the pace and timing of the tour to suit your group. Roll with this tour and you will not be disappointed!!
