None of our group of 8 could hear the tour operator. We had 30 people in the group, and the tour guide spoke ahead of the group. We were all walking behind him, but his voice projected forward. The tour is only a few blocks in total, and you cannot go into any of the locations/buildings. Our tour guide was not engaging, welcoming or in costume-as in the photo. I encourage you to read about the 1900 Hurricane and after effects( boneyard) as that was the neighborhood we walked through on the tour. None of us would recommend or take this tour again. Our ages range from 13-76.

We are so sorry you were disappointed. After reading review I have a meeting scheduled with Greg tomorrow. I'm very sorry that your group wasn't able to hear. We always urge people to get closer to the tour guide if they're having trouble hearing. Crowds have been much bigger than we anticipated for the holidays. Hopefully the rest of your evening was much better. if you scroll down the rest of the reviews Greg usually receives five stars. I'm not sure what he was facing but I'll find out tomorrow how to set reminder tomorrow thank you for pointing out this problem to me

Stories were poor, fake, and not believable. Research for facts was nonsense. Guide talked about herself, not reality.

Great option for Christmas Eve in Galveston! Was surprised at how many stories of ghosts there were, the tour description does not do this service. Tour guide was losing his voice but managed to get thru the tour with all hearing his tales.
