Overview

The only tour of it's kind in Hilo, makes this 2 hour adventure a memorable one. Coconut Island (Mokuola in Hawaiian) is favorite with the local kids, for its stone tower from which they jump in the ocean. The proximity to Queen Liliuokalani Gardens gives views of the Japanese gardens and Hilo Bayfront and Mauna Loa Crater as a backdrop.

Had a great time paddle boarding out to Coconut Island. Our guide, Matt, was excellent. I recommend this experience.

My family planned a beginner's paddle boarding experience at Hilo Ocean Adventures, and we were not disappointed in any way whatsoever. Kira, our instructor, was very courteous, kind, and humorous! She prepared us, taught us, and showed us around the pond and the paddle board. Overall, we immensely enjoyed our adventure with Kira.

It felt great. The whole family enjoyed it. Adam and Morgan were our guides, and we did a round with other kayak teams in addition to the SUP. We had fun stories and explanations, and the breaks along the way were great too. I'd like to do this again. It was a great time.
