You will be lucky if you get Kelse as your tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. This is a very nice walking tour and it hits the highlights downtown. You see and hear about several key buildings in downtown, a number o the beautiful squares, and you will understand the layout of the town and reasons why by the time the tour ends. The pace is very relaxing. Kelse quite obviously love Savannah, and it shows! I highly recommend the tour! When you finish, take time to return to some of the sights or new ones in the area. There are many shops downtown and some great restaurants. I had a reservation at The Olde Pink House (right at Reynolds Square where the tour begins) for lunch and I returned there after the tour. If your plan is to eat lunch there when your tour ends, be sure to get a reservation well in advance. I saw many who were turned away due to no reservation.

The Savannah saunter was a great way To spend just part of an afternoon but gain an appreciation for the city. Keith told us about history that is not readily available from reading plaques and monuments, so it was the perfect compliment to the stuff we'd learned on our own just wandering. Highly recommended. Noble Jones also provides earpieces that make sure you don't miss a word and don't force you to hang on your guide's hip. If we ever go back to Savannah, I'd take another, different tour with NJ.

The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very articulate and he told about the history of Savannah from colonial times. He was patient and answered all our questions. I would suggest people to take this tour if they do not know about the rich colonial history of Savannah.
