Jonathan is a passionate historian who’s personal research gives a richness and a different slant to the standard historical walking tour. The Badass Broads of Charleston gives honor to the women of Charleston and the tremendous parts they’ve played in shaping American history. If you can only go on one tour, pick this one!

Jonathan is extremely passionate and knowledgeable of the history of Charleston, giving more insightful and interesting historic knowledge than most other tour guides within the area of Charleston. If you're looking for a fun trip through Charleston while also learning about the badass women that helped create it, then Jonathan is the tour guide to go to!

The Badass Broads walking tour with Jonathan was fun, informative and an experience we really enjoyed! We saw important parts of Charleston, famous sights were explained, and we heard stories about the history and former residents (females - or wives who made a difference) who were truly inspiring. Jonathan is an enthusiastic guide with lots of facts and history at his fingertips who works very hard to make your tour the best experience he can! So glad we took this tour, which was on the recommendation of a colleague who had also taken it a few weeks prior. So glad we did! Thank you Jonathan.
