Jonathan made this tour of the Badass Women of Charleston the best walking tour we’ve ever taken! He is so knowledgeable, passionate and sensitive about the history of Charleston. My husband and I came away from his tour with a much greater understanding of the position of women in regard to their response to slavery, their. Influence on political power. His enthusiasm is contagious! If you do just one walking tour, make it Jonathan Green’s from J Walking Tours. You will leave this tour with a better understanding of the history of Charleston and the power of some badass women. Have fun!

Johnathan was so knowledgeable and passionate about what he was teaching us. I have been on a few tours of the city and no one does it like him. Also no other tour really talks about the woman of Charleston, so we learn a whole new part of the cities history. He still talk about what you hear on other tours so if you only get to do 1 tour this one is amazing.

Jonathan was one of the most passionate and informative guides I've every experienced. The Badass Women of Charleston tour was entertaining, enlightening and educational. So much of history is only focused on the men and what the history books print. These stories tell you so much that you never learned and that's so wonderful to learn about. Highly recommend this tour ......I'd do it again!
