What a wonderful way to spend an evening on the water learning about the Hawaiian Island history, eating a very tasty dinner and watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean!

This was a blast! The dinner was great, the entertainment/ music had us all up and dancing and the sunset! Amazing!! Then there’s the porpoises leaping out of the water next to the boat. All in all, a ten!

First time out with this group, and we will do again on our next trip to the BI. For the best views of what you are supposed to see at certain times, sit on the left side of the boat, facing outward. The somewhat "talky" historical narration focuses on points on the land as you pass by. During dinner, the boat slowly circles Kealakakua Bay, then starts heading back out for sunset, which is awesome. Food is really quite good ... doesn't sound as good as it is. Get in line before the second helpers scarf down the good stuff. (The ugly American comes out at buffets, doesn't it?) Anyway, we both had a good time. Crew was very helpful, especially with bringing plates, drinks upstairs, and helping us on/off boat. We recommend two bartenders, rather than just one, during the early rush period. Bring tip money ... nobody asks or pressures, but there is a red tip bucket on the buffet as you exit. The crew deserve it.

Aloha OutAndIn2014, Thank you so much for the feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve our cruises and reviews like these help us see what we are doing right and what needs to be worked on. The idea of having two bartenders during the beginning of the cruise could be a possibility, but luckily the crew is available on board to take drink orders for guests so instead of waiting around at the bar, guests can sit comfortably as they enjoy the live music. And thank you for the recommendation to tip the crew! We never expect people to do so, but it's just one of the many way to thank the crew for the above and beyond service they provide! They're the hardest working bunch I have ever known! We hope to see you out in the water with us again soon. Mahalo, Chris Grossi @ Body Glove Adventures
