Came for the dinner cruise and historical tour, and was blown away with the distinct privilege of not only seeing a pod of dolphins and a manta ray, but the first whale breach of the season! Food was excellent, drinks looked incredible, and the staff was very attentive and prompt with making sure our experience was great from start to finish! Thank you Body Glove Cruises!

Aloha joshuaawoodward, Thank you so much for your feedback! We pride ourselves on providing an excellent experience for our guests. If that includes convincing the whales to arrive earlier than normal, it's well worth it! Joking aside, I am glad you were able to have such an amazing time out on the boat and were able to get to see such a rare occurrence! We hope to see you in the water with us soon! This cruise was the perfect length and the crew was great. They take you to the Cook monument in a calm bay where you can watch the dolphins and sea turtles while the sun sets. We had a wedding party on our cruise so things got lively and the DJ was great. My only complaint was the limited seating and tables. This ship is used for snorkeling tours during the day and isn't set up for a dining experience. Things are more casual and if you don't get aboard early, be prepared to not have a table. We chose to sit outside and up front and had a great view of the cruise (it's also helpful if you tend to get sea sick like me). Overall, this a a great way to see the Cook monument and marine wildlife. Full disclosure: I took a lot of Dramamine and wasn't able to eat anything. I get sea sick easily but survived. While I didn't get to enjoy the buffet, it look like everyone else was enjoying their food and there was plenty of it.

Aloha Babner, Thank you for your review! We appreciate the kind words, but just want to make a two minor corrections here so people are as prepared as they can be when they come aboard: 1) There are six restaurant-style booths along our bottom deck that can each seat six adults. Along the top deck, there is bench style seating with tables all around the inner and outer perimeters. In front of the bar, behind the seating at the bow, there are two stand-up tables as well. 2) In my experience as a crew member on the vessel I have to say that sitting at the bow is typically bad for guests who become sea-sick. Happy this worked for you, but sitting as close to the stern (the rear) of the vessel as possible on the bottom deck is best because that is where the boat moves the least. So sorry you missed the meal! But glad you came out and enjoyed a sunset on the water with us! Mahalo, Chris Grossi @ Body Glove Ocean Adventures

We chose this dinner cruise after searching for ways to see a bit of Hawaii's coast. Quite simply, it was very worthwhile. We were greeted by a friendly and capable crew, treated to a relaxing trip south from Kona, where we had several historical and natural sites pointed out and described to us, blessed with wonderful live music, and fed a delicious appetizer then dinner.
