Just came back from a wonderful sunset dinner cruise with Bodyglove. We had our 3 month old grandson and his parents along with us and felt very safe. The captain and his crew were very professional and entertaining and attentive to their passengers needs. The cruise was highlighted by narration about the history of the islands and the Kona Coast down to Captain Cook monument and back. Along the way we were entertained by bottle nosed dolphins and flying fish as well as a fine musician. The food was good and plentiful. Recommend highly.

Our Body Glove Dinner Cruise was an excellent trip. Seeing Kona coast from the ocean was great, both day and night. The highlights from this sunset dinner cruise started with great local narative of the regions history. On the cruise we saw lots of spinner dolphins that loved the wake from the boat. Then we got to see a pair of humpback whales surfacing, followed by more dolphins. Also great live Hawaiian music on the cruise. As the sun was setting we were fortunate enough to see a cloudless sunset, including a green flash. The buffet dinner exceeded expectations, while Captain and crew were very friendly and service orientated. This is one of the best ways to see Kona and its surroundings, and would do the dinner cruise again if friends or family visited. This was a family trip with no teens or young children, but anyone would enjoy.

Aloha GathererHunter, We have a new chef and he has really added something to each menu item that has taken the buffet to the next level. Thanks for mentioning something about that. We all think the meal is significantly improved, and it's nice to get this kind of confirmation! Green flash, whales, and dolphins? Did we mention there is an added fee when you see all three! Just kidding, of course. Some evening out there really are exceptional, which takes a lot in a beautiful place like this. Mahalo, Body Glove Ocean Adventures

Because we have had a fine experience on the BodyGlove snorkel cruise, this time on our Hawaii visit we took the evening dinner cruise down to the Captain Cook Memorial and back. Well, we could do this again. The on board historian, a local lady, gave us a detailed, enjoyable discussion, almost nonstop on the outbound cruise. A wealth of information that provided one with a good understanding of the culture that was here long before the Europeans arrived. The vocalist/guitarist was equally local and with lore and song that was a real complement to the evening. The evening meal was a great buffet of Hawaiian Chicken, braised beef brisket, Pit roasted pork and more. The dessert of cheesecake was mighty tasty. When you consider the dinner, the included cocktail, and the trip itself, this is a most reasonably priced activity. Just the dinner for a couple would easily be $100 anywhere else. All the staff were very friendly, attentive, and the captain was happy to receive any and all conversation. Great trip, worth repeating. Even better, if you have already been on BodyGlove, be sure to ask for the repeat customer discount.
