If you want to learn about Hawaiian culture AND see some of the big islan'ds beautiful coastline at sunset, then this is the experience for you! My husband likes to take it easy on vacation while I love to learn and sightsee and this cruise was the perfect compromise. The cultural expert speaks as your cruise to the monument and then you enjoy wonderful music on the way back while you stuff your face with wonderful food. My only word of caution is that on this day at least, there was a strong current. I am extremely prone to motion sickness and if I hadn't taken precautions, this would be a very different review! However the cruise company can't control that and they do their best to provide a smooth ride. Just make sure you know your tolerance for sea travel!

Aloha Kasey F, We are happy you took precautions and were able to enjoy the ride, even though the waters here weren't as calm as they are usually. It's a great message to send out there to everyone on TripAdvisor: Just because you may be prone to motion-sickness does not mean you should miss out on a five-star snorkeling experience on a luxury vessel! There are plenty of ways of insuring your trip with us is free from motion-sickness. If anyone out there would like to brainstorm with us, just give us a call: 1-800-551-8911. What a perfect experience! Fast and beautiful boat-Kanoa II, is a beauty. Very comfortable cruise down and back. A very efficient operation, fantastic crew, especially Michael, Joe & Bartender Briana! Try the Breezy Breeze cocktail, delicious and refreshing too!

Sorry, couldn't resist. This was a fabulous "3 hour tour", and we didn't end up on Gilligan's Island. We saw a manta ray, lots of flying fish, and dolphins! The narrator was informative, the singer entertaining, and the crew very accommodating (they offered to carry your food to your tables, and I saw them getting drinks from the bar for the older clients). We enjoyed the food, and there was plenty of it. Lots of places to sit (tables & benches), both in the shade & in the sun (they even offered sunscreen if you forgot yours). They have a appetizer buffet on the way to the Bay, and then serve the dinner buffet while floating in the Bay. Sunset was gorgeous (I know they planned it that way...lol), and it was fun seeing Kailua-Kona all lit up on the way home. We bought discounted tickets through Costco, and it was real easy to redeem them through Body Glove - just call ahead.

Aloha epbkm, Thank you so much for this five-star review! In order to avoid jokes like this in the future, we are considering changing our tour time to 2 hours and 55 minutes. Here's a note about Costco for the TripAdvisor community: Please call ahead to be certain that we have availability on the date you'd like to book for the tour you desire. Also, our children's price is from 6-17 years of age, and is not reflected on the Costco ticket price schedule at all. Sometimes we offer a discount of 10% or 15% across an entire reservation for various reasons (AAA, for example), and can discount the child's price, which is already less than the Costco price, in those instances. We do not apply discounts to children's tickets in combination with Costco tickets. So, if you have a group with several children, Costco might not actually be the most cost-effective option. To find out more, give us a call, or stop by one of our ticket counters on Ali'i Drive and we'll give you the low down on not just our tours and prices, but those of other activity providers island wide! Mahalo epbkm, The Body Glove Cruises Team P.S.- We really do appreciate you taking the time to review!
