I know people love this dinner cruise. We enjoyed it. Nice boat. Great staff. Great sunset. But we had hoped for a peaceful cruise along the coast at sunset. The historian lectured on for an hour, giggling at her own jokes. Then a musician played Motown at eardrum-bursting levels. I guess peaceful enjoyment of the ocean and sunset is a thing of the past.

We had a wonderful evening and dinner. The narrator gave detailed information on the various points of interest along the shoreline and on land. The crew made every effort to ensure that guests had fun, were well-fed and had beverages. The food was delicious, and I especially like the lomi-lomi salmon and beef brisket. I had that at other restaurants which were not anywhere as tasty as that served aboard the boat. I would recommend this dinner cruise to anyone looking for beautiful scenery and great food.

We took the historical dinner cruise to Captain Cooks Monument located in the beautiful Kealakekua Bay. Can't say enough about the amazing staff who were on top of everything from drinks, to a delish dinner, to the telling of Hawaiian history, lore and points of interest, to the music, and pointing out the first sighting of a whale since it's not quite the season for them. Experienced many spinner dolphins who put on quite a performance for us all, and lets not forget the stunning sunset. My best experience so far on this my first Hawaiian adventure.
