This cruise was so much fun! The dinner was really good and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The view of the sunset was amazing. We saw some Pilot Whales, and flying fish. They actually fly! OMG, if you have long hair, be sure to pull it back because it is very windy, and it is difficult to eat with hair in your mouth. But, honestly, our hair made for some hilarious pics. Highly recommend!

Aloha truevans, Ha, I love the visual you paint with your long hair adding some giggles! We are in motion the entire 24 mile round trip journey. Mahalo for the "hair-tie" tip to fellow long haired individuals! We are thrilled that you had a wonderful experience and to have earned your five star rating! Thanks a million! Thank you for recommending us with such high regards! We are grateful! We wish you all the best and hope to see you again someday soon!

It started out with the boarding which actually started an hour early rather than 30 minutes early. We arrived 30 minutes early as requested and we ended up with terrible seats. That was just the beginning of a bad experience. We saw absolutely nothing on the trip except a statue of Captain Cook. There was no wildlife at all so it ended up being a 3 hour boat ride. The food was terrible. Everything was cold and the serving size was not even adequate for a bird. When we arrived at the Captain Cook monument they were ahead of schedule so they circled the area to waste time. I would recommend that you not waste your time taking this trip unless as paying $180/person for a 3 hour boat ride without seeing anything is that interesing

Aloha Roving577536, We are sorry to learn that your experience was not what you expected. Our family owned business has been providing ocean adventures for Kamaaina and island visitors for over 30 years! Our team loves sharing our love of our island and ocean with our guests aboard our 65', two million dollar catamaran the Kanoa II. Our dinner cruise boards at 3:30 pm, departs at 4:00 pm and returns at 7 pm. We have a historian on board who shares Hawaiian history, stories and legends and points out landmarks in route to the Kealakekua Bay home of the Captain Cook Monument. Dinner is served in route. Once in the bay we absolutely cruise the bay so that all of our valued guests can take in all the amazing vistas. On the way back to the Kailua Kona Pier (24 miles round trip) we have live Hawaiian Style Music and of course our beautiful sunset. Unfortunately while we commonly see wildlife on our cruises it's not guaranteed. For our valued readers here's our menu: Starter Mauna Loa Big Island Macadamia Nuts (Vegan/GF) Salad Kealaola Farm Mixed Salad Greens, Waimea Grape Tomatoes, Japanese Cucumber, Red Onion. (Vegan/GF) Served with a House Made Maui Onion Vinaigrette (Vegan/GF) Main Course Thai Coconut Curry with Hamakua Sweet Potatoes, Hawaiian Breadfruit, Carrots, & Bell Peppers (Vegan/GF) Steamed Jasmine Rice (Vegan/GF) Kiawe Mango Barbecue Pork short ribs served with a Papaya salsa (GF) Island Baked Coconut Dinner Rolls served with Butter (Vegetarian) Dessert Cheesecake with a Local Lilikoi Glaze (Vegetarian)

The Cruise was great! Staff very friendly except one named Cole, he was very rude specifically to our family. Otherwise a wonderful experience!
